The Franklin Police Department is located at 118 Davis Street on the court square in Franklin, GA. It is a modern, well-educated, highly competent department consisting of both sworn and civilian personnel. We value high integrity, the community policing philosophy and continually strive for excellence in all that we do. We are dedicated to keeping our community safe and believe that community involvement is the key to our success.

Our primary focus is protecting and serving our citizens with the highest possible levels of commitment. As the City of Franklin continues to grow, the department will progress in order to persistently exceed the needs and expectations of our residents, visitors, and employees. It is my honor to serve as Chief of Police in the City of Franklin, a vibrant and diverse community with a rich history and an exciting future. Our organization takes pride in providing the highest quality police services to our citizens and businesses. Through collaborative problem solving with the community and aggressive pursuit of criminals, the Franklin Police Department endeavors to keep our community safe and secure.

Chief's Message

A community oriented policing philosophy serves a guiding principal for the department. Our department's values emphasize the importance of being leaders in the community and building relationships based on trust. This approach encourages citizen involvement and allows our team to provide quality services that anticipate and respond to the changing needs of the community. Our tradition of community policing means that we listen to what you have to say. We respond to complaints and seek out long term solutions to neighborhood problems and challenges. Our staff, both sworn and civilian, are well trained, well equipped, and committed to serving our great community.

The men and women of the Franklin Police Department are committed to serving you, our customer. Whether you are visiting, working, or residing in Franklin, you should know that we stand ready to serve. Of course, we cannot do it alone. We need your help in reporting suspicious activity and crime, becoming and remaining involved in your neighborhoods, and sharing information with us to preserve order and safety.
